Our latest project is a Rondavel – A traditional circular African dwelling with a conical thatched roof.

We figured out that by placing a large number of square holes in the wall, each hole can be kinked by a small amount to achieve a smooth curve.

To assist on site we developed a pneumatic bending device. The bending could not be done at the factory because of transport problems.
